Post to social media and every TV screen at once: How Green Level transformed their communication without adding work

Green Level High School was already using Gipper to create and publish content to social media. With Gipper Display, Athletic Director Colin Fegeley can now push that same content to every TV screen on campus — from the same publish button, in the same workflow, with zero extra steps. The result: more content shared, more athletes recognized, and better communication across campus — in less time.

How Green Level's experience changed

Before Gipper Display

Green Level was already a Gipper Engage customer — creating graphics and sharing posts directly to their athletic department's Instagram and X accounts all through one platform.

Athletic Director Colin Fegeley wanted that same content (game day announcements, weekly schedules, awards) displayed on the two TV screens flanking the entrance to their gym and cafeteria — a high-traffic area every student and visitor passes through.

But getting content onto those TVs meant using a separate, clunky signage platform entirely disconnected from the Gipper workflow he used every day.

The weekly workflow:

  1. Create a graphic in Gipper Engage
  2. Download a compressed file (full-size was too large for the signage tool)
  3. Login to a separate signage platform (frequent password resets, account lockouts)
  4. Navigate to each TV, pull down the old graphic, manually upload the new one
  5. Wait for it to refresh to make sure it worked correctly

This process took Colin 4-5 minutes per slide. With updates being made 2-3x per week, he was spending precious time on a task that felt like it should be effortless. In certain cases, Colin would even decide not to share content to his TV screens because it would simply take too much time.

After Gipper Display

With Gipper Display, Colin's workflow completely changed. Now, when he publishes a graphic in Gipper, he can send it to Instagram, X, and both TV screens simultaneously — all from the same publish button. No extra steps, no separate platform.

  • Create a graphic → publish to social media and both TV screens in one click. Done.
  • No downloading, no separate portal, no password resets
  • More content shared, more athletes recognized, better campus communication — because it's no longer a chore
  • "Remarkably stable" — zero glitches even with 1,000+ students on the school Wi-Fi at lunch

Why they needed to switch to Gipper Display

Green Level isn't just using Display for convenience — it solves a real communication problem. North Carolina is tightening restrictions on student phone use during academic hours. If kids can't check their phones between 8 and 3, how does information get to them?

Display gives Green Level a way to push schedules, recognize athletes, and share announcements to high-traffic areas like the cafeteria — exactly when mobile-based social media can't reach students.

And because it's now effortless, Colin shares more. Content that used to get skipped because the upload process wasn't worth the hassle — a record-breaking relay team, a baseball action shot, a midweek schedule change — now goes up the same morning. Less friction means more content, which means more recognition and better communication across campus.

"I'm creating a graphic that I'm going to throw up on social media... I just click once and it automatically sends it to my Instagram, X, and my two displays outside our gym.

It's incredible. I'm saving so much time.

If you're already using Gipper for social media and you have screens in your building, Display is a no-brainer."
