Since 1949, Unity High School has built a championship tradition spanning generations of athletes, honors, and stories.
With a Hall of Fame established in 2005 and decades of achievements archived or constrained by limited display space, AD Patrick Striegel needed a better way to preserve and showcase the program’s legacy — both on-campus + online.
Unity chose Gipper Touch to surface previously unseen content, highlighting their state championships, Athletes of the Year, historic accomplishments, archived materials, and more — in an interactive, modern format.

What they showcase
- Hall of Fame. Unity High School's athletic Hall of Fame is now brought to life, with decades of inductees showcased through automatic slideshows of incredible, sometimes historic photos alongside informative bios.
- School Records. Unity now has a digital archive of athletic records across every team, from all-time Football rushing leaders to girls' Track & Field event records. What used to be scattered across plaques, google sheets, and yearbooks - now has one home that grows with every season.
- History. Unity has a rich athletic history going back decades. Their Touch display spotlights the biggest moments, from Dottie Schroeder becoming the youngest founding member of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League at fifteen in 1943, to Unity's first IHSA team championship in 2015.
- Academic Teams. It's not just athletic teams that get the spotlight. Unity highlights the championships of their academic teams, including their Math Team, Science Olympiad, and Worldwide Youth in Science and Engineering team.
